I was born in 1962 in Milwaukee. I am the fourth of five boys, two of whom live in Green Bay while two are living in Chicago. My mom passed away in 2009 and my dad lives in Green Bay.
I grew up on the west side of Chicago at Our Lady Help of Christians Parish. I began my seminary preparations in 1976, when I attended Quigley Preparatory Seminary North High School.
I have been a priest for 25 years, having been ordained in 1988. I completed my Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) in 1989. My first assignment was at Our Lady of Humility in Zion, where I was associate pastor until 1996. My next assignment took me to St. James Parish in Arlington Heights. In 2002, I was named pastor of St. Bede Parish, which serves the Ingleside and Fox Lake communities, where I will be until June 30th.
My interests are photography, painting, drawing and playing softball. I am an avid Bears, Cubs and NASCAR fan.
I was very excited when I received the call that I would be the next pastor of St. Theresa Parish. I look forward to serving all of you. I trust that together we can experience the Lord in our lives.
I ask for your prayers that God may give me the tools I need to be a faithful, loving and generous pastor with you. I will talk to you more in the future but I wanted to let you know a little about myself as I begin what I hope and pray will be a wonderful assignment as your humble pastor.
God bless you all.
